White Hart Cafe
Reviews
Great downtown coffee shop, often live music, craft beers, friendly staff, and a cozy atmosphere, I recommend the omelette and a latte!
Don't bother. Place was dark, dirty and unfriendly. Stopped in for breakfast - we were never acknowledged by the only guy at the coffee bar although we walked right past him to take a seat. We finally asked if they served breakfast and he shoved a couple of menus at us. We sat down and waited for somebody to come to the table. The kitchen was dark and the guy at the counter clearly wasn't going to come over. After sitting there for a good 10 minutes without service we decided to take our money and interest elsewhere. With a total of 6 other customers in the place it was hard to believe they were too busy to offer basic service.
The White Hart is the perfect place for me to enjoy good tea and coffee while I work. It has a great atmosphere. The people are very friendly and they will remember you if you go there a lot. The food is unbelievably tasty too!
nice spot. gets kinna hot during the summer though
I had an almond milk mocha latte that was not very good - it tasted of pure almond milk, not much else. My husband had an almond milk latte, and it was the same - completely overpowered by almond milk. My daughter had a soy hot chocolate, and once again it was not very good - it simply tasted like semi chocolaty soy milk. The house coffee may be better, but the drinks we had were very bad. Additionally, the service was very slow; it appeared as though the place was understaffed, for a majority of the time only one person was making drinks while approximately 6 to 8 people waited to place their order.
