T.G.I. Friday's Lynchburg
Reviews
My bf and I are regular customers at TGIF. We ALWAYS sit a a table in the bar area. Last night we were there and the service was absolutely horrible with the manager finally showing up at our table an hour after we had asked to speak to him. We had a guest with us that had driven from Farmville to have dinner with us and I had never been so embarrassed in my entire life that he had to go home afterwards with service like that. 1. Our first round of drinks was perfect and delivered on time. (Chase waited on us when we first got there even though it was not his table.) 2. Ashley came to take our order but never checked back before the food arrived to see if we wanted/needed anything else. 3. Our food came. Ashley again never checked on to see if everything was okay - it was not. 4. I had to grab her when she was cleaning off a nearby table to let her know that we needed silverware, another round of drinks (this was a second round for the guys) and that my boyfriend's food order was wrong. (no bacon on the cheeseburger.) 5. 20 minutes later a side order of bacon was brought out for him to put on his burger (Really?!?!) He told the runner that he didn't want it and wanted to speak to a manager. The runner came back and said that the manager was busy cooking and would be awhile but that my bf could have something in it's place or it would be removed from the order. We asked to have it removed from the bill. (It wasn't.) 6. When we called Jamey out from behind the bar so that the we could get a round of drinks (3rd beer for the guys, 2nd glass of wine for me), Ashley magically shows up and clears the plates yet NEVER speaks to us to see if we needed anything else. 7. The manager FINALLY shows up to our table. He offers a discount on our ticket but not our friend's. (Yet our friend's endless app order was wrong.) Then the ticket was still wrong because the cheeseburger had never been removed. The entire night was just one screw-up after another and I have NEVER had that kind of problem there before. Needless to say, the tip we left was $0 and I hate doing. When I worked at a similar establishment in the past, if we had delivered that kind of service and never checked on a table other than to take the initial order, the manager would have treated it as a walk-out and we would have had to pay the bill at the end of the night when we cashed out. Harsh, yes. However, as a waitress, it will be a mistake you make only once. You ALWAYS check on your tables no matter how busy you are. We are normally in there 2-3 times a month and spend approx. $70 (not including tip) each time. However, it will probablu be awhile before we go back because the service was soooo poor.
The food too expensive for to small portions.. the buffalo wings. Taste like frozen chicken. The served its ok.
Enjoy D times I have been their
Its Nice seating outside with cookout !
Used to be a really good price for really good food, but since their price hike it's just not worth it..
