Perks! Espresso & Smoothies
Reviews
Despite the faux reviews found here, Perk's has steadily become worse and worse. I tried it when moving here a year ago and the espresso and coffee was decent enough to have a place besides Starbucks to go. They are wildly inconsistent though in terms of quality and service (friendliness). I just threw out an Americano that had zero crema. I asked the grouchy girl behind the counter why it was so watery and she chose the condascending path and explained to me 'it has water'. Thanks, silly girl. I could set aside her overall dark disposition (we all have bad days) but at $3 for a cup of water you'd better not ask me to pay for more espresso shots. She did. I threw her bad remake attempt away. I walked out. And will have to return to Starbucks if I want to sit somewhere to work outside the home. You'd find friendlier service getting a cup of coffee at the temple downtown. At least a smile might be cracked on their faces.
Delicious, hand crafted espresso. Only place in Southern Utah you can find a decent cup of joe. Best Cappuccino I'd say in a 250 mi. radius.
coffee is too sweet...but the atmosphere is great, and for that reason. 4 star.
AMAZING FROZEN COFFEE'S! Not that Starbucks even stands a chance against gas station coffee these days, but Perks is the best for frozen and iced latte's.
I love Perks! The people are always happy to make my coffee just how I like it. They have a few menu items that are super yummy as well.
