I go to Restaurant 1107 occasionally for lunch. It's quite lovely; nice, decently priced lunch items and very quiet setting. Fabulous views. Great for a business lunch. Haven't been there for dinner yet.
We're pretty picky about where we choose to spend our "going out to eat" dollars. The occasion was my mother's 81st birthday celebration. We have been to several restaurants in the Ogden area and decided to try something new. I got online, saw this one, read some of the reviews and decided to give it a try. SOOOOOOOOO glad we did. Mom loved it! We started off with the Coconut Shrimp, which was predictably good. We each had the carrot soup. Excellent! Mom had the halibut, as did my wife...and I had to have a bite just to see. Couldn't imagine anything this far inland tasting as good as they were saying. Happy to report I was very wrong. It was awesome! I had their ribeye which was excellent. The meat was tender and very flavorful. The fresh steamed vegetables were so delicious. We saved room for dessert, too. Chocolate cake was a hit with Mom and my wife and I absolutely loved the lemon creme brulee. The service was great...the ambience superb...nice and quiet. We went on a weeknight, so not as busy as weekends might be. Will definitely go again.
It's on the top floor of this cute old hotel! The food was BEAUTIFUL and delicious! The waitress was wonderful and the place was beautiful and tiny. Loved it! Best soup I think I've ever had (they were serving some carrot soup... and I don't even like carrots). My date and I both ordered fish and it was delicious! Such a good find!
We had a great experience dining here! The service is outstanding, the food is expertly prepared, and the atmosphere is upscale. Our amazing waitress did a great job and really made our night special.
Took my mom for a birthday dinner last night. What a fantastic place. Great jazz music played. And it wasn't so loud you had to yell to be hard over the music like most places do now. The food was in big portions and very well prepared. The staff was very friendly and Tom, the owner and cook, came out to great us. Great guy. And don't forget wonderful view.
