Horrible Service. Filthy Kitchen. The worst I've ever had. I don't usually write reviews, but I did for this establishment. My Story: Called ahead to order one large pizza. Server on phone told me it would take about 40 minutes, (a little long for a pizza in my opinion) which I was fine with. Left my residence about 20 minutes after calling, got there in about another 20 minutes. Entered the restaurant carry-out door to pickup my pizza. Waited for a moment while another customer ahead of me was helped. Once he left the Pizza cook starred at me for a moment, but didn't say anything. Finally a couple servers noticed me, but again didn't bother to help me. I stood there at the front counter for 20 minutes waiting to get helped and finally I just walked out. I realize that I could have spoken up and said something, but if this restaurant really cared about their customers, this wouldn't have been necessary. There was probably only one or two tables being used when I got there, so it wasn't even busy and the parking lot was practically empty as well. I arrived about two hours after they opened. As a professional in Real-Estate, I know the important of good customer service. A customer shouldn't have to raise their voice to get help or gain attention from the employees who noticed I was there several times within that 20 minutes (even made eye-contact with a couple). While I was waiting, I couldn't help, but notice how dirty the kitchen really was. Sauce spilled over on the appliances and the counters looked filthy. It's a wonder how this establishment passes regular inspections. The place was also severely ran down and I'm sure my clients or myself would have gotten ill. All in all, I'm glad I left and went somewhere that treats their customers as a priority and knows the importance of keeping the restaurant clean.

Piccolo's is the only pizza I can eat anymore. I trust that their ingredients are the highest quality and I have never had better tasting pizza anywhere. We love to take the whole family, order two GIANT salads with their delicious homemade dressings, bread sticks and a large pizza with fresh mozzarella cheese. The owners and staff are the friendliest people you will ever meet and the service is excellent. We truly feel taken care of every time we go there which is often! In fact whenever we get in the car to go to town my 2 year old asks, "Go pizza??" If we ever move we will have to take Piccolo's with us. That's all there is to it.

I am sad that I no longer live in Ogden, I no longer get to enjoy this pizza. I lived in the area for about 3 years and Piccolo's was hands down the best pizza joint in town. The place is a little run down looking, but not dirty, and service is kinda a hit or miss...even if the service was horrible I would go back for more!

We moved here from Florida in June and until tonight, had thought we would never eat authentic, good pizza again...This seems to be a family owned business where the owner REALLY CARES about his food. They put really fresh, high quality pepperoni and salami (I think) on their house salad, which really is a great addition. The server said their dressings are freshly made there...really great. Then the owner came out with our pizza, which he said he was trying something new, utilizing different flour and a different process in the oven/grill..First, that tells me right there that he cares about the food he is turning out and has a passion for it...that makes a huge difference. Well....the pizza was awesome! Really light and airy, and NOT GREASY! It was nice to NOT FEEL like I just ate a lead sinker for a change. My husband and I are picky...we went to the popular place right down the street not too long ago....you know, where they put the pizza on a conveyer through the oven and it's all pre-prepared and that place was awful...For the life of me, I do not know how they get so much business...Hello people!!! Go to Picollo's and you will never return to THE OTHER PLACE! This is real, unadulterated pizza. Keep up the good work! Now if we could just find a GOOD Chinese restaurant, we will really be happy!
