I was taken to Bob's as a surprise for my birthday, I had never previously been, I had only seen it in passing. The dining experience was great, the atmosphere was perfect, the staff was on point with both their courtesy and service, our waitress Sarah and the GM Patrick, specifically. The food was spectacularly prepared and served. One of the best dining experiences I've had.

Came here for a lunch sales pitch from a very high profile tech company and left thinking "WOW, that was some great food!" They first started us out with jumbo shrimp cocktail and fried calamari. Both were ginormous, both were perfectly cleaned and prepped as all seafood should be. They also served their rack of lamb as an appetizer and boy were they cooked perfectly. Beautifully seared on the outside and perfectly pink on the inside. Their salads were crisp and refreshed you as they moved us to the prime filet mignon entree dish. I left that sales pitch with a food coma and a belly full of wonderfully delicious meat. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good steak... meal in San Antonio.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Bob's. We had previously eaten there, so we expected a great dining experience. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed in a really mediocre meal at a very high price. I wanted some prime rib, but the menu was confusing, and I ended up getting prime rib eye. (I don't believe that the prime rib I wanted is on the menu.) The meal was okay, but there was gristle and excess fat on the steak, which I didn't like to see on a $50 steak! There was a limited choice of sides as well. My wife ordered the small filet mignon, which was "okay" (her words), but not great. Total bill for both of us was right at $100, which included two cocktails. A week later, I visited the Outback restaurant and had my prime rib. My meal there exceeded my expectations, and was at least 30% less than Bob's offering. Service at Bob's, I must say, was very good. I only wish I could say that the meal was as good.

My wife and I celebrated our Anniversary at Bob's and couldn't have had a better experience. The staff signed a card and commemorated the event with a complementary toast. The GM was on site and active visiting every table. He made a great dining experience even better then I could have imagined! Fernando was our waiter and he was attentive, insightful and professional. The Filet and crab cakes were right at the top of my list. We will most definitely be back. Thanks for making it such a wonderful experience!!!
