Cracker Barrel Old Country Store
Reviews
I've been about 4 or 5 times and have always had a good experience. The waiters are very accommodating to children. I've never had to wait long to be seated either.
The waiting time to be seated was a bit of a bummer but the service and food made up for that. We both loved all the antiques and memorabilia throughout the place. We're from New Zealand so a place like this is a treat for us
We always enjoy eating at this Cracker Barrel. We have been great fans of Cracker Barrel for 40+ years. The cornbread is the best, and the vegetables are good, but the beans and turnip greens are slightly over seasoned and the dumplings are a little too thick. Even though this is the way these foods are cooked, I still love to go there for home cooking. The waitresses and waiters are very friendly and efficient. The menu has changed since the last time before tonight that I was there. I really wanted the Beef Stew, because it is one of the best stews or soups anywhere. I frequently make Beef Stew at home, but it doesn't have the exact taste that the Beef Stew there has had. I frequently order the stew and slaw, but the waitress told me that it has been taken off the menu. It is especially good in the fall and winter, so I don't understand why it was taken off. I really wish I had the recipe, so I could get the exact taste. Please think about getting it put back on the menu. The store has such interesting things, and I have been a good customer. My only disappointment of the store is taking off the stew from the menu.
The food was cold, the server spilled tea on my mother, the womens bathroom was dirty, there was food and trash all over the floors, the sliverware was dirty. ...
