Hard Rock Cafe Pittsburgh
Reviews
It was ok 👌 same allways with a Hard Rock Cafe franchise
Food was ok but the wait and price were awful. With six small tables in the place it took 25 minutes to get drinks and over a half hour for one appetizer plate.
Food is very average there, but even worse are the bar tenders. In an attempt to refer to the bartenders by name instead of "hey you" or "thanks to you" I was advised that "we don't like to be called by name". I was taken aback and thought they were joking at first but as the night wore on, their attitude and limited customer service skills were lacking. I happened to be standing next to a local sports star when he was attempting to make eye contact so the bartender at least knew he was there and was rudely told that I will get to you. In a service industry I was pretty shocked at their attitude and even more surprised at a name like Hard Rock, looks to me like you should be blessed to be patronizing their establishment. With the entire entertainment down the street, you would think they are trying to compete for the spend, but thats not the case.
The food is decent but doesn't justify the price! Went to a benefit fundraiser for the Pittsburgh food bank on May 30. The place was packed, too much so for my taste, no place to sit, stage poorly situated, never again!
I've enjoyed the Hard Rock Cafe when I was in Vegas, so I was having good expectations when I came to this one. Like the one in vegas, the decor and atmosphere was unique, eye catching, and entertaining. The server and hostess were friendly and ready to answer our menu questions. My friends and I got the nachos, spring rolls, and goat cheese sandwich. The nachos were cheesy and was a good proportion. The spring rolls sounded real good from my friend, and my sandwich was mm mmm tasty. I would definately come again and recommend to all.
