Al's Cafe
Reviews
My experiences with this place are all based on dine-in weekday lunch visits only. I will say that the staff is very friendly, the place is very clean, and the wait-time is typically reasonable (even during lunch-rush)... but the overpriced, mediocre food is where they lose me. While they have an extensive selection of items on the menu, most items I've tried (pasta/soups/sandwiches/wraps/veggies) have been "meh" - and it's too expensive for "meh". I'd much rather they offer fewer well-made items than a multitude of things that aren't very good, OR reduce the pricing to reflect the bland offerings. **EDIT: The turkey bacon swiss flatbread is pretty tasty - enough to warrant an edit.**
Do you have a great restaurant near you that's been open for 50+ years that serves steak till midnight? Gotta love Al's! Thanks Rod!
Was not happy with the food at all, I thought it was me, but my party of 3 alk agreed, and we all had different dinners. Have not been back since, and have NO plabs in returning. Al's wouldn't survive in another location. Wouldn't take much to establish a successful food operation in this area. As everyone I know gives a couple of other places in the bethel area bad reviews, but they always seem to be busy. People in this area don't seem to hold to high of standards for there food
I have always loved Al's Cafe food. Service sometimes is shaky depending on the time of day but overall not enough for me not to return.
Great dining and service also great food and plenty of selection for all
