Their menu is simple but delicious . And their coffee is amazing. It can get a tad warm in the shop which is perfect for the winter seasons.
This place has such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. I go in every morning for their flavored coffee of the day. Usually flavored coffees are too sweet for me, but theirs has just a hint of flavor that is perfect. They have some good sandwiches and soups, but if you want food, you have to try their pastries. Muffins, scones, pies, etc. are all made right there and they are all incredible. Wendy and the rest of the crew are super friendly and are very accommodating with special requests. This is just a great place to hang out. They have free wifi, and on Monday nights there is a knitting group in the side room.
Stopped in over the weekend for a light lunch and cup of coffee. Atmosphere for an independent coffee shop was pretty good, but I was disappointed in the coffee. Tasted stale and bitter, not worth the $3 cup. We also ordered a $7 toasted cheese and a $7.50 tuna melt. They weren't distasteful, but not nearly impressive either for the price. Probably won't be going back.
I've been there a few times for coffee and they have a great selection so that's a plus. I tried their soup once when I was feeling kind of sick and it was great, a lot like something my mom would make me when I was a kid. They have wifi and an atmosphere appropriate for both old timers and hip youngsters. The staff are all ways super nice and polite. Every single one of the girls who works there is a doll but how would you ask one out, seriously, "do you wanna go get a coffee" doesn't work. Also I just wanted to mention every time I've ordered I've asked for "a really big one" for whatever I'm getting and they all ways give me some massively awesome man mug and I feel like a boss drinking it.
'Sat outside for an hour in very chilly air waiting for the place to open (my fault I was early). 'Was next to the door in full view of worker who was there at 6 when I got there but door was not opened till after 7. (Come on it's a coffee shop..) So now I'm finishing my coffee across the room from the loudest soda pop cooler I have ever heard in my life. Good thing I'm head injured or I wouldn't put up with this.
