Ultimate service beyond expectation. Really cool views and location.
Small portions for the price, but the view is great.
Memorial Day 2009 was a college reunion of sorts and we enjoyed the company while taking in the view from Mt. Nittany Inn. They had a good beer selection and nice enough menu selections. The prices for the quality do included a bit of a view tax. All in all we'd go back anytime but carefully choose some snacks with our drinks. The bread was pitiful. We concluded it was basically some sort of "popping-fresh" product. On top of that it was served with their special cinnamon honey butter...sorry but stick with plain butter or olive oil. Also they had a weird, lame excuse of a bruschetta - please avoid.
Average food for how expensive it was. Pretty decent service. What you pay for is really the view overlooking the valley, which is quite impressive.
Ate from the lunch menu and enjoyed what we had...the potato skins are really good! The clam chowder was nicely finished with sherry and had a generous amount of clams. The French onion soup was good, little sweeter than I make, but good!
