Texas Roadhouse

I had a piece of metal scourer (~6 mm) in my chili. I was lucky that it only cut my tongue, not my stomach or gut. It would be dangerous if someone swallowed it. The waitress described this condition as it is very normal. I did not get any solution or even a simple ‘sorry‘ until I mentioned that second time when waiting for our check.
Great ribs and bbq use a dry rub, that is whey these are, DRY rubbed. The pork and the hamburgers here are very fine. Good sweet tea, fries, etc.... The consistency with the other restaurants of this chain are spot on. Don't care for the singing and dancing, thou...
Awesome service great food quick service one of the best Texas roadhouse we've been to thanks
I've been to a few Texas Roadhouses and this one was the worst. The food is inconsistent (like the ribs are dry) and the quality seems lower than other ones I have been to. I used to like the bread until I learned it has 300 calories a piece without the butter! Also all the food contains MSG which is a big turnoff. The managers there are especially rude and seem to hate interacting with the guest. When I was there, I witnessed one yell at a guest, and seemed annoyed with everyone there. This location has bad management and ok food. I am not going back
I have been to Texas Roadhouse locations across the country and this was by far my worst experience. Normally, I have an experience at Texas Roadhouse that is between great and superb, but this location failed to meet my expectations. We were sat quickly but things started off bad from there. We hardly had any peanuts, as in about a quarter of a bucket, and we have 7 in our party. We didn't get silverware from our server when we sat. She came by to get our drink order, gave us our drinks and asked if we wanted an appetizer. We said no and she walked away without asking us for our order. When she came back, she got the order and I handed her some coupons, which she seemed to act like there was a problem about. Then my wife's salad came but still no silverware. Finally I got up an asked for some, while filling up my own peanut bucket. Then they screwed up my wife's order, by giving her fries and never having brought me my salad. Turns out the salad my wife ate was meant for me and they never substituted her fries for a salad like she asked. Then the food came. Well, the kids weren't impressed with their entrees. They said the mac n cheese wasn't that good, my son didn't like his burgers, and my daughter said her steak had no flavor. My steak was actually quite good, but my wife said her burger was burnt as if her father had grilled it. She asked for it to be medium and when she finally refused to eat any more, I gave it a try. It was burnt and tasted more like salt than beef. Anyway, the service got a little better towards the end but it was no where near what I have experienced at other locations. I doubt we will ever return to the State College Texas Roadhouse.
