Honestly, I want to rate this 1 star, because I want to be selfish and keep the ice cream all to myself muahahahahaha. So good.
This was so good it brought tears to my eyes. I am allergic to milk, and I haven't been out for ice cream in years. The vegan chocolate ice cream is absolutely amazing, with the perfect amount of rich, deep chocolatiness. My husband loved his salted butter caramel ice cream as well. We will be returning!
Pretentious. Overrated, overpriced and mediocre ice cream.
How I didn't find the Parlour before, I'll never know. Definitely glad I saw the line out of the door one random night in Durham, and decided to brave the wait. This particular night it moved fast, and it was definitely worth it. For a unique and truly rich ice cream, make sure to stop here. Personally I enjoy their shakes/floats, but you can't go wrong with anything from their awesome menu.
Just get the Salted Butter Caramel and thank me later. This is one my favorite flavors of ice cream ever. I hate to not get that when I go to The Parlour, but recently tried the Apple Pie ice cream and it's amazing as well. All of the ice cream is handmade, and that's one of the reasons why it's so great. The Parlour is located in a small shop on the CCB plaza in downtown Durham -- a perfect location within walking distance of most everything downtown.
