It's a little rough around the edges, but everyone who lives in Lansing knows whats up. Love the staff, love the location but it could use some TLC. Sucks the bands don't have a real backstage, loading and unloading gear must be a huge pain.
Absolutely love this place! Though not extensive, the drinks available are awesome (I drink dark lagers/porters/ales/etc and good beer is hard to find) and the environment can't be beat... best dive bar I've been to!!
It's okay. Atmosphere needs a huge makeover. So do their beer tap lines. I will only get bottles or cans.
Most definitely a hole, but a good one. Best place to see good live music around Lansing. The dingy dirty facade at macs adds to the charm, bring a sharpie and leave your mark on the walls of this fun bar.
