I have been going here since the day it opened. We must have eaten here3-4 days a week for the 1st month. We go there often still for both lunch and dinner. Ed the owner is terrific as well as Mel the Head Hostess. We are like family. Our Favorite is the Salads made in a Parmesan Cheese Bowl, OMG, these are great, if you don't eat all the salad you do eat all the bowl, or at least take it home. We have had just about EVERYTHING on the menu, twice. The menu is completely different from anyplace else. The Chefs in back make terrific stuff, once in a great while, and I mean in a great while you get a item that isn't right, but send it back and it's fixed. Nobody's Perfect!!! All the Time. I recommend Fireside Grill to everybody I know, we even have our monthly Meetings here in the winter months for the Lansing Area Flying Aces and the whole membership has a great time. Even if it is busy, you don't have to wait long, there is plenty of seating in the Pub, Front Dining Room or the Sunset Room (Where we have our meetings). Actually I'll be there again today for lunch with about 15 of my friends for an Meeting with 4 clubs for scheduling our Summer Tour 'd Michigan for Flying. If I don't see you there today, I will one day, I'm there a lot.

Our staff often meets here for group luncheons and celebrations. When the restaurant first opened there were some challenges, but in a matter of months the manager Melanie along with her staff, got it together. Now it's one of my favorite local spots to go to. The staff is friendly, accommodating, customer-focused, and most of all STABLE (meaning little to no turnover). They see hundreds of customers each week, yet know me by name. I love that.

Enjoyed the service and the food. Hostess and waitress refreshingly friendly. Cole slaw looked different, but tasted very good. Daughter ate all her food, which is unusual.

I've been there a couple times now and it was always great. We went with a group of 8 recently and everyone wants to go back. If you get the salad make sure you eat the "cheese bowl!" Totally awesome.

Just got back from the Fireside Grill in Dimondale. Worst meal I have had in many years. Waitress took our order and was gone for a long time. After the meal was brought to us we did not see her again till the meal was over. The meal.... we ordered potato skins, we could hardly eat them, way over cooked. We also ordered wings. I could not cut the wings they were so over cooked. Pour service, pour food. There are a lot of other places in the area to go to and we will. We will NEVER go back to the Fireside and we will tell our friends to stay away.
