Hogan's is my absolute favorite sandwich shop in Gainesville. Their subs are delicious, and their menu is extensive. Not that it needs to be, because I have yet to stray away from the number 1! On top of that, their prices are reasonable when you consider how much meat they give you. Oh, and be sure to ask for extra meat. For minimal extra fee, you'll essentially get lunch AND dinner for under ten bucks! And, in addition to their great sandwiches, their service is extremely friendly as well. They're always polite and will greet you with a smile! Overall, this is one of those places that you have to try (unless of course, you don't like sandwiches...)!
This place is great. The beers on tap are choice, plus a great selection of bottle beer. I go for lunch on occasion and the specials are always good prices for their sandwiches. *Just remember it's cash only*. It's well worth it if you got a $20 bill on you for a couple beers and a sandwich. It also gets pretty busy on Friday evenings in the bar. There is also an outdoor area in the back.
Great subs, but the location on 13th Street seems to be a little better.
Best sandwiches in town! Hogan's staff has never been anything but pleasant and friendly! Definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner! I had the special today which was a huge 8inch sandwich with turkey, ham, cheese and whatever you want on it, chips and a large drink for $6 and some change after tax. They only accept check or cash which is a little bit of a hassle but it's definitely worth it!! I cannot rave about this place enough and cannot wait for next Monday! Try the meatball sub!! Don't forget a fork though, you'll need it!
