Ruby Tuesday
Reviews
Horrible food, service, and management. My girlfriend and I decided to visit Ruby Tuesday's for the first time as a part of our date night. It had to be one of the worst mistakes we have ever made. As soon as we walked in the host ignored us for a good 3 minutes while he was on his phone. After he sat us we waited 10 minutes until the lounge server finally stopped her conversation with another employee and decided to take our beverage order which then took another 10 minutes for glasses of water. Right when she dropped off our drinks, we told her we were ready to order and she simply ignored us and walked away. Why I didn't storm out at that point is beyond me, but I simply made a request to the host that he ask our server to come back over. She took our order and our food actually came out fairly quick, but my steak was overcooked by at least 2 temperatures. I asked for it medium-rare and I got a nice hot brown center instead. The sides were freshly microwaved though, I enjoyed watching my girlfriend pick at some soggy fries while I was doing the same with my onion rings. I would have sent the plates back if my server ever bothered to come by, but we just tolerated the food since our movie was going to start within the hour. When we finished our server came by and dropped off our check, and hustled away. Unfortunate for us because we had about 20 minutes left till the movie started and I was paying with a debit card. We ended up being late to the movie. I tried addressing the horrible service to a manager the following day who said she could not refund our food but would give us a gift card for our next visit. The gift card never came so because we did not receive proper compensation for our horrible time, I'm letting the world know.
The service was very good here but the food was some of the worst I have ever had. The shellfish trio was extremely overcooked to the point I am sure it was reheated in a microwave. The mashed cauliflower was burnt soup and completely uneatable and my steak was super well done after requesting medium. I have been to other ruby Tuesday establishments and will continue to go to those but I will avoid this one at all costs. Unless you are looking for overpriced food that is not even fit for a backyard cookout, I suggest you do the same.
Loved it! Any positive question you have about this location, my answer is yes. Food was great, service was good, and the environment was nice and casual like i expected. I ordered the cajun jumbo pasta bowl and the salad bar was fresh ingredients. I give my experience a 10 out of 10.
Server was awkward and dumb, didn't know how to complete full sentences. The salad bar was old and empty with nothing I actually wanted in a salad. The Parm Shrimp Pasta had overcooked noodles and under-cooked shrimp and after one bite I sent it back. The margarita had no alcohol that I was aware of and tasted like a glass of margarita mix with a salt rim. Also was overpriced and dirty. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!
This is actually my husband and I's favorite restaurant. Sure, you're probably thinking, "It's a chain restaurant, they're all the same." NO! I Every time we visit this particular one(I've been to other Ruby Tuesdays that barely compared) the food is always fantastic and the wait staff is very attentive and helpful. Also, being a chain restaurant, its reasonably priced. My only issue is the lighting is a bit dark, but other than that, love this place.
