The Geek Squad at this location is a joke..First of all the store opens at 10... I call at 10:05... No one answers the phone..I call back on the sales line..she transfers me ...takes a few mins and I finally get through..The Geek Squad employee takes my information and I start asking questions about my computer..she says she has to ask her supervisor a question and puts me on hold..when she comes back she says she'll transfer me to the sales dept in Gaming to find out what graphics card I need for my computer..I still have questions about my PC so I ask if I can speak to her supervisor to find out the specifics (seeing how I did call geek squad) We're about 15mins in now and she says ok puts me on hold again...comes back and says the supervisor will be with me in a moment she's waiting for her to walk over..On hold again............................(my thoughts wow the supervisor must have some short legs).............................!0 mins later the supervisor comes on the phone and is pretty much pushing me to talk to the sales dept (now I also told the girl in the beginning that I didnt know if I wanted to buy from Best Buy thats why I want to know specifics) So I tried to ask her (The supervisor) a couple questions...but she was very short and still pushing me to the sales dept....I ended the call abruptly after 25-30 mins of wasting my time...and still NONE OF MY QUESTIONS ARE ANSWERED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This location SUCKS!!!!!!!!! By FAR the WORST Best Buy I have ever encountered!
I was amost about to buy a $4k home theatre system when I realized Thanksgiving was 2 weeks away. I asked what happens if the price goes down in 2 weeks? The guy looked at me like I had 2 heads. Of course the price will come down; BestBuy doesn't have a 30 day price protection plan, like a lot of retailers do. So no sale. I waited until after Thanksgiving and wound up buying it for $3k at PC Richards.
Customer service at this Best Buy is horrible. Went to buy a computer on Nov 2, 2014. We found what we wanted and had the computer in hand and was waiting to check out in the computer department. There was 1 person in front of us, when they were done checking out, the associate totally ignored us and walked away. Waited there for over 10 min with no acknowledgement what so ever, asked to speak with a supervisor and when one finally came he didn't even care about what had happened. So we left without buying anything. Been a best Buy customer for a long time but will never shop at this store again. Wish I could give 0 stars.
I bought a subwoofer and amp from Best Buy and tried to use their in house installation service. The installer showed up late, and then treated us as if we were at fault. He was rude and disrespectful, and acted like my questions were unimportant. After I dropped the car off, he called me and said that he couldn't complete the install because he didn't have some special tool. You would think that PROFESSIONALS would be well prepared, especially when the appointment had been scheduled for over a week (the make and model of the vehicle was given at the time of scheduling). I think the installer's name was Matt. I would STRONGLY DISCOURAGE anyone thinking about using this service.
