Flanders Fish Market & Restaurant
Reviews
Stopped in for a quick dinner after my daughter's basketball game. My wife ordered a hot lobster roll which came with two sides. I ordered the lazy lobster saute, described as a 1-1/4 lb lobster, boiled, shucked and sauteed in sweet butter. Waitress said it came with one side. Both dishes were 'market price.' The 1-1/4 lb lobster was a cull and appeared to be less meat than the lobster roll. At nearly twice the 'market price' of the lobster roll, this item seem to be a very 'entrepreneurial' offering. I would recommend sticking with fixed cost items at this establishment. Lobster was also very tough.
Flanders' Fish Market is a community favorite and local icon. In addition to the legendary fish and chips that originally put them on the map, they currently sport a broad variety of gourmet options, a comprehensive fresh fish market and all their traditional favorites. A+
Worst easter buffet ever, I don't know what kind of meat they were trying to pass off as lamb, it was NOT lamb! service was terrable, food was plain and gross. I felt sorry for the patrons sitting next to the buffet line, alot asses in their face while eating. we sat next to old lobster tank filled with disgusting water., no lobsters would survive in that water. Don't waste your time and money.
There are few restaurants you can see your dinner choice fresh in the case and order from there if you choose. Their lobster bisque is so delicious I can't resist it. I often bring it home for dinner. You can't go wrong. Service is pleasant and overall they are there to please. Worth every cent.
I was concerned by its location and name but very pleased when we got. The food is great. I had seared yellow fin tuna. My wife had baked wild salmon. A most visit for sea food lovers.
