Nice staff, good all round neighborhood bar and grill. There is a decent mix of people and usually something going on like music, trivia, or karaoke. Plus the food is great. If you live in Castle Rock and want a tasty veggie burger, you can't really beat theirs. They'll make them however you like, but one way involves a puddle of hot sauce kept pooled above the patty by melted cheese.
Have gone a couple times to make sure it wasn't just the one time. If you want something like a long island, margaritas or such... Don't. They can't mix drinks and a lot of stuff is premade so taste like crap with little alcohol and a big price! Stick with only beer. Not to mention our service was bad due to our waitress spending more time at the table with guys flirting. Better places by far in Castle Rock.
I wouldn't recommend it. I got the pineapple vodka, it was horrible with little to no vodka. The waitress opened a tab for me when I didn't ask for one. They need more waitresses there, only had one that day for a extremely busy bar. I waited ten minutes for my drink. She would take your card as if you were paying and open a tab without telling you. As a result some left thinking that they paid.
This is my favorite local place. Good food, open late.
I love the Hideaway. It's another place that people in Castle Rock or passing travelers can go to make them feel comfortable and at home. The owners are awesome and continue to try and bring new things to the local crowd that will keep them coming back for more like different menu items, Bronco football perks and Sunday morning brunch with bottomless Mimosas and a Bloody Mary bar. Karaoke with Jimmy on Thursdays and Saturdays is always a blast! Good food, good brews, good crew, good times!!
