This is a great spot for lunch. You start off with an amazing view, adding friendly and attentive staff, and top it off with some fantastic food, and you really couldn't ask for more. Although the food is on the pricier side, they serve some of the best seafood I have ever had the pleasure of eating. I'd eat here for lunch every day if I could afford it. If you are looking around in the shops, check this place out for a good meal.

Superb! Everything we ate, (scallops, wild rice and handmade mashed potatoes), absolutely delicious! Even the desert was to die for! Being that it was seafood, it was pricey but worth every penny! The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was wonderful.

Stopped here with a couple of biker buddies. Had fish and chips and clam chowder. I had to tell them their secret recipe isn't secret, everyone in Maine knows it. Good, authentic, New England clam chowdah. Beautiful views of the water. Fish and chips were pretty good also, lightly breaded and perfectly cooked. Very friendly staff and locals made for a very enjoyable evening.

When visiting Morro Bay, we always have dinner at The Galley! Our first time was in 1973 while on our honeymoon. Although we were underage, two small glasses of champagne found their way to our table to help us celebrate. Back then, The Galley was little more than a fish shack. Fast forward to 2014! It’s now a nice sit down restaurant with a great wait staff, great food, nice décor, and a nice wine and beer selection! Being nostalgic, I always order their fish and chips along with a cup of clam chowder. A nice option, instead of the chips, is a nicely done dinner salad with some great dressings! Try the mango! The clam chowder by the way…the same recipe from 1966! There’s even some nice desserts as well! All in all, a nice place to watch the sun go down behind the rock!

This is one of the classiest restaurants on the Embarcadero, in Morro Bay, CA The service is GREAT, the fish is FRESH, the Rock is right there! Linen tablecloths, nice wine selections and vegetables al dente---What more could you ask for. Partake!
