Clam chowder was on the bland side. Salmon was decent, but it would have benefited from a little something extra. Solid hamburger, nothing special though. Side fries were excellent. Salad unexciting. Best part of the meal was the appetizer, Morro Bay oysters, which were very fresh. Pedestrian beer selection. Service was good; polite and professional. Nice ambiance, great view of the bay! Reasonably priced.

My go-to spot for fried goods. Get yourself the Deep Fried Seafood Combo, belly up and enjoy. Usually, I prefer fresh seafood. However, sometimes, you just want something deep fried and that's when I go to the Dutchman's. Mmm. Deep fried.

Wonderful. I got like a steak on toast thing and it was amazing. The clam chowder was also great.

Good service, the meal was served quickly, the fish and chips were done perfectly, their salad is savoury and fresh--all for a reasonable price. My thanks from this Canadian visitor.

Found the Dutchman's on a busy Sunday in July after walking out of a popular nearby restaurant whose noise level was unbearable. The Dutchman's was quiet. The wait for a table was short but we opted to sit in the bar at one of the tables next to the window. The service was fast, friendly and excellent. The fish and chips ordered by my husband were deemed the best ever, and my Harvest Salad was the best thing I ate while in California.
