INCOMPETENCE 1) Both of their Rx for my glasses were much worse than reading w/o glasses or using my 4 yr old Rx when reading PC. RUDENESS 2) Dr. Hatanaka very angrily & rudely refused to clean my glasses lenses. 3) Dr. Day tried to pressure me to pay an extra $100 or more for her to supply my lenses, knowing I was on the low income State insurance plan VSP. 4) Not a single apology for all my wasted time,effort, gas $ & for my many extra trips & the 2 incorrect Rx's & 2 sets of incorrect lenses I had made & paid for by another Company. GALL 5) They then said they would charge me $45 for another exam to correct the 2 wrong Rx's they gave me.
An excellent choice for those in the Marin area, Dr. Haack is great! He explained things about my vision (nearsightedness) that I had never fully understood. He took the time to really make sure that I was comfortable with my contacts, and was very professional. Highly recommended.
Great place. Staff is super friendly, they really go out of the way to help. Dr Haak is fantastic. Really explains things, taught me things I never knew and is genuinely interested in your eye health. Super place all around.
I've been going to Dr. Gina Day for 15 years and will not go to anyone else. I've since moved to Campbell and still travel up to her Larkspur office to get my eyes checked and to change my glasses and contact lenses when indicated. She's careful and thorough, providing an excellent service to the Bay Area. Her staff are a pleasure to deal with.
