Horrible, I would rather eat at Dennys. Firstly, my soup was served with my meal, a first for any of my dining experiences. I was definitely heated about that to start because my neighboring table had their salads while I sat there. The waitress was scarce to be found, likely in the back of the restaurant discussing the crimes they were about to commit on our dinner. My boyfriend had ribs, and they were the fattest cuts of meet I have beheld served for $20. For $20 he received three bones of beef ribs containing mostly fat, and a tiny bowl of baked beans, a rip off if I have ever seen one. I ordered a steak, medium rare, and got it (with my soup) cooked medium, and it was the toughest piece of steak I have ever eaten. The funniest part was that the waitress suggested it because it was supposed to be the more tender of the steak slices hahah, it was comical. It was so bad that doused in steak sauce I still could hardly chew it and only ate half of it. You would have better luck taking a fifty from your back pocket and using it as toilet paper, it would probably be a more valuable use of the money. I would never ever eat here again.

I will never eat here again, and I'm telling all my friends who visit Julian not to eat here either. The waitress, who can't handle a busy day, (and who wasn't wearing a name tag), YELLED at me forty minutes after we ordered, when I asked where our food was. That was after we waited over an hour to be seated. You only treat me bad ONCE. When we paid, the woman (who looked like the owner), never asked how our meal was. And by the way, four dollars for a terrible tasting side of coleslaw is a rip off.

We ate hamburgers there today, and they were very good, along with the coleslaw and apple pie. It's too dark in there, though.

Its been a few times now that I have come here.. The staff is courteous and the food is really good and so is the ambience. Do have cheese fries and soup of the day.. Parking is there too

BAD choice! Do NOT eat here. Food was horrible, terribly overpriced and service was terrible. Total waste of money! We had such a great time in Julian until we went here for dinner. I can't believe how bad and cheaply made the food was. I wish I had read these reviews before going! The waitress was very rude and we waited an hour for dinner. We actually wished we had stopped at McDonalds on the way because McDonalds has WAY better food! Don't ruin your trip by eating at this place. Its too bad they are at the center of town.
