Great food, amazing homemade salsa... everything on the menu is delicious I used to be a local before i moved always used to have lunch there. Servers were kind and courteous. breakfast is amazing especially the french toast and pancakes!!! favorite meal is between chimichanga, flautas and their tostada grande bowl. cant wait to come back for a visit. also has a nice view of town from the deck. It also has a dog friendly deck which is always a plus. Liked: Food, service, value, people
i got there on sunday january 31,2010 i was recommended there by a friend so we walked in there it was a total of 7 of us and they told us they only had room outside which it was very cold when in reality there was room inside so we sat down outside and the waitress came and gave us the menu and actually threw the menus on the table and took a whole lot of time so we got up and just walked out she was literally really un polite and rude i wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. i mean if you dont like you job it isnt our fault
For starters, Iam a waitress and I know how running a restaurant works, I have done it for years. When I go out to eat, Iam very patient, always give the server the benefit of the doubt because I know how the job works. I never complain and when I do, Iam very polite about it because I know that its not always their fault. WELL LETS JUST SAY THIS PLACE SUCKS! When we first walked up the the patio area, we asked the server if we could sit outside and that we had a group of 10. She just said yeah and walked away. So we pushed some tables together to accomidate our group. (Not a big deal) We sat down and it took about 15 minutes to get some chips and salsa. About another 15-20 minutes our server comes out to take our order. We started going around the table and she was writing down what each person would like. One girl in the group said, "Would you like us to give you our drink order now, or when your done?" Her response was, "Whenever" Iam sorry but I thought you were the waitress, you should have done that First not just Whenever. A few people in the group wanted bar drinks, and the menu had a listing on the back of what they had, which was the main reason why we went there. She began to tell us they dont have a liquer license yet (Not her fault) Just bummed out. That should have been our first sign to leave while we still could. We ordered sodas instead. She walked away, and about 25 minutes later, a gentlemen in the group got up to go inside to ask where our drinks were, and they were sitting on a tray ready to come out. The server brought them out in soda cans and with a glass of ice, which to me is tacky. The food did not come out for at least 45 minutes. One person in the group got up to go do a little shopping because they were getting frusterated just sitting that long. The food came out and it was TERRIBLE, absolutley no flavor and 3 people in our group all had black curley hair in their food. I can understand one, sometimes that just happens on accident but 3 separate plates that were all completely different, from a salad, to a kids plate, to a taco. They ended up taking 4 meals off our bill. When I looked at the tab to see what I owed, there were NO PRICES!?! I turned it over and it had random prices written on the back with the tax and the total. Our bill still came to over $77 for a group of 8 and 2 kids. Remind you, we all got something small. One salad, one taco ala cart, one tostada, one burrito ala cart, and two of the people SPLIT a plate. SO how in the world is the bill 77 bucks if she took 4 meals off and they were all about $4 or $5 a plate. We felt ripped off because of the bad service and aweful tasting food, instead of wasting more time waiting around to fix we the bill, we just paid it and left. We will never return to The Fajita Grill. P.S. I dont think it was just our table we noticed other tables sending food back as well. One being a kids PB&J sandwhich, How can you mess that up? Or was there a hair in their food too? NO BUENO
They charge .75 cents for every credit transaction. This is a clear violation of their agreement and I have reported them to Visa & Mastercard. If they try to charge you, just say no thanks and walk out. Remember, this kind of practice is not allowed in California and that is why I have reported them. Beware!!
I am a local, love the food here especially the salsa. When I want to treat myself I sneak away for a model negra and fish taco, yummy!
