I have been eating at Native New Yorkers for over 20 years. I have always loved their wings. Unfortunately, this location does not do the chain any justice. Over the course of 20 years I have been a regular at one location or another throughout the valley; however, since moving to the far east valley my trips have gotten fewer and fewer. The food at this location is hit or miss, but the real problem is the staff. The staff is typically rude, and it is almost a guarantee that they will take forever to take your order and even longer to deliver your food. It is a real shame that this location is so terrible, because I really used to like to eat at Native...
We wanted to give this place a try despite the negative reviews, however now we pretty much agree with them. The menu seems to have good potential, but everything is served as though it sat in the window for a while. Not much flavor, things are dry, poor quality ingredients, etc. Partway through dinner I realized I was still hungry and wanting to eat more, But I literally didn't want a bite of a single thing on our table; it was all sub par. Definitely a disappointment and we won't be wasting money here again. For the record we had potatoes skins, lemon pepper wings, honey hot wings, buffalo chicken sliders, and a California chicken club.
Great service! Great wings! Couldn't find anything to complain about if I tried!
I really hate to give it this rating as I have thoroughly enjoyed other locations but service was poor, burger was dry, tomato was 2mm thick and only half a slice, lettuce was sparse and the flavorless white part only. The only thing good about it was the bacon and cheese was enough. There was zero bbq sauce, zero catsup, zero mayo or miracle whip, zero mustard. It seems like the cook is the only one who cares why food is returned to the kitchen uneaten... though by that time it is to late... opinions have been made and the damage has been done. Word to the wise... go to Chili's or Texas Roadhouse instead if you are in this area.
Horrible food. Dry wings. Cant even get soda refills? Really? Everytime I come here its a different problem. Im done with this place.
