After a delicious meal at Burgoo, I presented my Groupon to the staff which was no longer valid for the deal I initially purchased, but was still worth the $15 in value I had paid for it. When I presented it to the staff they aggressively told me that it wasn't valid and that it was my problem with Groupon. In addition, my partner was pushed out of the way by the busser while we were discussing the payment situation. Afterward, a manager took my number to look further into the matter with Groupon but the staff's rudeness towards us really put a sour note on our meal and we won't be back.
My boyfriend and I ate here in Nov 2013, and he got food poisoning the day after! He ordered the apricot lamb tagine, some scones, and a lemon soda. We suspect the lemon used to make the drink was contaminated (either not washed, or cut with a dirty knife), either way it was a horrible experience! It's a shame because the food here is delicious... but we are never coming back again!
Comfort food at it's best!
We went to this place last week and ordered Kentucky Burgoo and Beef Bourguignon. The portion was so small relative to the price and the service was OK.
Try the BLTCG (BLT with white Cheddar and Guacamole). Spinach salad is also good. Chicken Harira and Spring Salad can be made gluten-free.
