I like Menards. They have a great selection of product for the most part, and their employees are knowledgeable in the area that they work. I don't particularly care for their rebates which come as a store credit. The rebates arrive to me in a reasonable time, but it would be nicer if they were cashable, but as a store credit, there is always something that you can buy. I recommend this store.
most of the employees are customer friendly and helpful. The manager, Rocky, is a great guy and when there is a problem, he takes care of it right away. One suggestion would be to have a store index or a computer available to the customers, where you could look up the item you're looking for and you would know where to look in the huge store. I've seem customers leave because the employees were with other customers and couldn't help finds items for them. The other suggestion would be to have a store in Phoenix. The Phoenix Menards would be busy from day one.
Menard's "rebates" should be illegal. They advertise rebates on selected products, then the rebates take forever to get to you in the mail--then it turns out they aren't rebates at all, because they come, not as cash, but as store credit, redeemable only at--you guessed it--Menard's. This is just plain deceitful.
