Great experience. Staff was very courteous and friendly. I wasn't pressured. Would recommend this dealership to anyone. Thanks for a great experience.
I called ahead of time to make sure the altima I wanted to test drive was still there. They called me the morning I scheduled a test drive to make sure I was still coming. When I got there they had to go find the car in the lot (most places have them ready for you) not a big deal, but when I got in the car it had three warning lights on. One for the brakes one for the VDC system, and the slip light was on. Driving it the steering wheel shook bad once I got over 60 mph. Obviously I didn't want the car, it needed brakes badly the rotors were grooved up badly and the fluid was very low. The second altima I drove was nice and was about to buy it until I went to look at the car again and it wouldn't start. They said the battery just wore out, it started the first time just fine then after driving it wouldn't, sounded like the charging system didn't work right. They put a new battery in and said that the charging was fine, no print out or anything stating that the charging system worked. This place is a joke, thanks for the drive to fondulac. Go to Bergstrom, Best experience I had out of all the places I went. I bought a Kia Forte from them.
I just bought a Mazda 3 from Holiday, and I'm delighted with the whole experience. John realized that I was looking for a clean, efficient buying process, and he had the paperwork all ready for me. I appreciate that. Yet, he didn't shortcut anything; he went through all the explanations about the car and its features that I needed to know. I'm delighted with my new car, and equally delighted with the experience with Holiday I'll definitely be back next time.
I have been tho Holiday twice and both times it was not a good experience. Four years ago I went there to trade in my 99 Silverado. At the time the blue book value on the truck was $9,000 for trade in. They offered me $6,000. They were not even in the ballpark and it was sad to me that they even thought that was a reasonable offer. Most recently I talked to someone about going to check out another used car there. I made an appointment and asked them to let me know if the car sold before I could make it there. I received a voice mail the day before I was to go confirming the appointment. I drove up the next day only to find out the car was sold that morning and no one bothered to let me know. I wasted my time and gas to go up there and find that out. Both times I have been there I got up and walked out with a sour taste in my mouth. Needless to say I won't be back.
I had just bought a used truck from a broker in Florida. On the way back to Fond du Lac, I learned that the truck would not shift into 4 wheel drive-lo. Once I was back in Fond du Lac, I brought it into the dealership to have the problem inspected. Although I wasn't real happy to spend $80.00 to just have the issue looked at, the problem was found quickly, shown to me, and the fix was minor...a little over $100.00 and fixed. I was also given a few service suggestions on the steering/suspension. Very professional. I am also a customer at Holiday GMC, have had 2 vehicles from there and would not hesitate to recommend the Holiday Dealerships.
