Silverwater Cafe

Overall a great place. I'd definitely come back here next time I'm in town. The drinks were pretty good (though not incredibly strong, only complaint) with a nice cocktail menu. Service was very friendly and professional. The food is also very good. I got the risotto that they had on their specials menu and it was done very well. We also tried the ahi as an appetizer which was very good quality and done well. The rest of their menu looked amazing as well, so I'd be excited to try more of their entrees in the future. The have a nice selection on their dessert menu as well. We got the raspberry cheesecake. It was very good, but perhaps a little too sweet for my tastes.

one star for appearance. didn't get to eat there. got into town mid afternoon after flying into Washington and driving all day and had not eaten yet. Was told they have good food. BUT got there at 3:05 and was told they weren't serving. they will not serve you between 3-5 because lunch ends at 3 and dinner doesn't start til 5. so I tried the Belmont restaurant and they were more than happy to serve me AND gave me the option of the lunch or dinner menu. you snooze you lose silverwater.

Pretty ambiance and they stay open late! Service is always good. The food is just okay but I'm willing to overlook that just to have a place to go after 9PM for drinks and apps.

Food was good. I had the salmon and it was done well and tasty. My wife had the filet and that was great. The only food that was a bit not to our liking was the clam chowder (a bit bland) and my wife thought the garlic mashed potatoes were too spicy (but she gets spiced out easy). The service was great. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and just plain nice. And the fresh pie was just yummy.

Amazingly good food. If you want a great dinner in Port Townsend, this is the place.
