Ugh, I was not impressed by this place. Both with the food and the service. Very disappointed too, someone told us that this was the best place in town. The service wasn't really horrible, but it was still pretty poor. No one was rude, but they weren't exactly friendly either. When we first arrived we had to stand around for several minutes before someone seated us. When we were seated, we waited another 10 minutes or so before a waitress came to us, who I think was pretty clueless. For example, the waitress never once noticed that after taking one sip of my drink, I never took another, and eventually gave it to my boyfriend. The same went for the food, I ate a little bit of it, but not much, she never once asked if something was wrong, also didn't even ask if I wanted a box when we left. As for the drink, I ordered off the cocktail menu (one of the tequila/jalapeño drinks) and just didn't like my drink (normally I love those hot pepper drinks). Don't remember what they put in it, but it also had a pretty bad aftertaste too. As for the food, I got the risotto of the day. It was very soupy/watery (you had to eat it more like a soup), soggy and incredibly bland (huge emphasis on *bland* too, there was almost NO flavor). No spices whatsoever. There was parmesan cheese, but it was very weak stuff, couldn't really taste it. My boyfriend got the duck which was much better (however it was not all the menu claimed it would be - no way was that skin "perfectly crispy") Didn't order dessert. Didn't want to be disappointed again.

This is by far the most wonderful restaurant. The decor was exquisite and the food divine. I loved when the owner made us a special flaming coffee. This was a night to remember.

Very cozy place and very nice folks. Oysters were huge, fleshy and good. Had an excellent pinot blanc.

Great food and ambiance... Little pricy

There are two rooms, the bar and the dining room. We prefer the bar it is warm, comfortable and welcoming. Regular selection of drink specials during a nightly happy hour. Good bar-food specials during that same happy hour. Highly recommended for a friendly drink and light repast.
