Wow - my husband and I visited the Brix for their crawdad feed. It was fabulous! I loved that the food was dumped out on the paper tablecloths and everybody just dug in! My hats off to Bill and Camis Davis for all of their hard work and effort to make this a great place to visit with friends. It's a fun classy, comfortable environment. BTW, the sax player was outstanding too!.

I have been to Brix once and I think it is such a fun place to hang out and have a drink. I thought the owner was so friendly and inviting! I also loved the artwork and vibe that they have going on and I think it will only get better with time.

Just wanted to write a quick review to say what a great place we think you have. The paninis were awesome! Having both beer and wine to satisfy all your customers is brilliant!! I am a wine drinker and the hubby likes beer so we were both happy. We will definately tell our friends about Brix.

I think there is a real lack of experience by the owner. We visited the Brix twice now and made the following observations. First of all as a new business impressions are EVERYTHING from the start. My wife and I attended a "Cajon event" on Saturday that tickets were needed prior. Anyway, the food was delayed but that wasn't a big deal. What are really big deals as a newer business is: 1. The failure of the owner to meet with his customers in order to introduce himself, entertain suggestions, opinions of service and food and wine quality, and to thank you for coming! Instead, the owner elected to assist in the cooking of the food along with the chef on a flat bed trailer in front of the business and removed himself from interacting with his customers. Not good. 2. There is no BOTTLED wine list!! Yes, no list at all. Instead you have to get up from your table and look at a selection of wine bottles on a wall. Then you have to ask a busy bartender for a price. If that isn't satisfactory, do it all over again! Yes, they do have a list for individual glasses but nope, not for a bottle. We were informed it is this way because they get different wines in at different times. Hello!!! How about a large chalk board listing wine bottles and prices. Then you could add and remove as needed. I made the suggestion to the bartender at whcih time she stated, "Hey, that's a really good idea!" Hellooooooo....duh. See what I mean..... 3. The food - SALTY as hell!! Oh my God, I could feel my joints practically filling with fluids. It was pretty bad to say the least. 4. Atmosphere - it's good but can be improved upon with different art work as compared to the same. 5. Oh, the advertisement for the event - this is a good one.... Ah, it stated, "Tickets $30.00 per ticket, $25.00 for 2 or more persons." So let me get this straight, if you are a single person you have to pay an additional $5.00 as compared to a couple or more people even though the dinner event only permitted mixed seating with strangers to fill every spot in the house?? Is that stupid or what? 6. Understaffed - yep, this is a real marketing event for you and yet failed to staff accordingly. I even saw a customer get up from the bar area seating and go behind the counter to assist! 7. Bathroom - 1 bathroom with no sign saying men and women so be careful when you open the door! Oh, and there is a waiting line too. Ladies, be prepared to put the seat cover down when you go in. Gross..... Well, these are just a few observations but it is VERY clear the owner lacks experience never mind plain common business sense. We have no plans on going back as we tried the place a couple of times. Basically, over priced wine, poor service, and poor food quality. Don't bother....... We do hope improvements can be made but I think it may be too late and I could see this place go under as so many before.....
