I love this place. For the fact the owner is usually the bartender/waiter he does an awesome job. not always the fastest place at night but lunchs are awesome and pretty affordable considering. i would suggest it for anybody looking for a beer and a burger. Tons of flat screens as well.
My boyfriend and I went in last night and after getting our bill we were kind of disappointed to find that despite what Bleacher's website said, there was no happy hour after 9 on a Saturday. This was after waiting for our food for 40 minutes. yes, 40 minutes. There was only one guy in the kitchen and after watching him for a while, we concluded that one (slow) guy probably wasn't the best decision on management. Despite our bad and first experience at this place, the server was nice. Needless to say, we won't be going back.
Good place to stop for a beer. The food very underwhelming though.
I have now been into Bleachers 4 or 5 times since it has opened and I hardly ever go out in Ellensburg. I love their food! I usually order one of the salads-"the garden bowl". It comes with a lettuce mix which has spinach, cabbage, and other lettuce along with grilled chicken (an add. charge) Parmesan cheese, tomatoes, onion, crasins, mushrooms and cucumbers. It is amazing, and huge! I can never finish half. With their burgers and sandwiches come a sweet potato/house fry mix that is so so good I always order it as an appetizer-which is 1/2 price during happy hour :-). Today I went and didn't want a salad so I ventured out and ordered the "Astro Turf" burger, this was a veggie burger with lettuce, pickles, tomato and onion on what looked to be whole wheat bun...no mayo or sauce which I enjoyed. The veggie patty had enough flavor for the whole sandwich, it was amazing!! I have never in my life eaten a veggie patty that was as good as this! It was served with a garbanzo bean salad, which was something new to me as well..again delicious as well. The service at Bleachers is good, not great, but being a server myself and having high expectations I approve, but the main reason I continue to go here is because of the work of the kitchen. PROPS!
Great sports pub that knows how to treat customers. $1.25 tall boy rolling rocks everyday. Great place to relax.
