Vural and Hassan and their families are amazing restauranteurs – they have created a beautiful space and amazing authentic Turkish food. I have dined at Tucker Box in White River Junction (their other restaurant) – but this new location in Burlington right on Church Street is just magical. My children have been raised to try new food, but have never had the pleasure of trying Turkish delicacies. But they know good food and after this experience at the Istanbul Kabob House – they raved for weeks! They (and their parents) can’t wait to come back. The lamb, the eggplant, and of course the almond pudding and baklava to finish were all fantastic. If you have never tried Turkish food – you are probably wrong. You have had a dish that is influenced by this country’s cuisine. It is familiar, approachable, and absolutely delicious. Besides, this family of owners will make you feel like you are part of their family – my family certainly felt that way. Thank you so much for great food and a great dining experience!
Turkish food is wonderful all around. I've been to Turkey several times and must say that the best Turkish food I've ever had is at the Istanbul Kebab House.
This is quite a tasty place. We got take-out and it was really good as take out goes considering you usually get things home and they've been sitting in the dish for a while. We will definitely go and dine in next time.
Excellent food, great quality. A bit pricy but totally worth it. Try the iced tea!
