My husband and I just moved to Blacksburg and decided to try Social House for our date night. The food was great! And we felt like the service was very personal which added to the cozy atmosphere. A little on the pricey side but we felt like it was worth it.
My husband and I love eating at the Social House! We go a few times a month for dinner and drinks with friends. It has a very welcoming atmosphere with great staff. The owner & general manager are always on hand to tend with customer needs. My husband loves the Low & Slow Smoked Ribs, and the Baked Baby Brie & Homemade Cheese Dip appetizers are our favorites. There's a variety of seating options available - the main dining rooms, comfy chairs on the porch, bar seating with sofa, and several tables for outdoor seating. I had a drink called an Afternoon Delight last night - it was the best!!
My favorite place to eat in Blacksburg! The atmosphere is great, and the food is absolutely amazing! Everything I have ever had here from grilled pork to jumbo shrimp to filet mignon is incredible and highly recommended!
Phenomenal food, an awesome environment, and great servers and staff! The Filet Mignon is roll-eyes-with-joy delicious, and their curry dishes are also amongst my favorites! Front patio is awesome (weather permitting of course). Check it out, you won't regret it!
Amazing place! Historic house on Main Street in downtown Blacksburg. Front patio. Murals inside that tell the story of Blacksburg and Virginia Tech by a famous artist. Creative menu, everything we had was terrific.
