Usually only went here when my mind blanked and I couldn't think of anywhere else to go, now my favorite place to eat in the NRV. Things have GREATLY improved here! The service is better, the food is better, the atmosphere is better, really everything is better. The best part, though, is the new Ichabod Burger. I've had burgers in Richmond, Radford, Roanoke, New Jersey, New York, basically anywhere I ever go I make it a point to try as many burgers as possible. I love burgers. The new Ichabod Burger is simply the best burger I've ever had, and that's a bold statement. 1/2 pound patty, mango habanero sauce, ghost pepper cheese, and melted blue cheese (no lettuce or tomato, get real) come together for a truly sumptuous burger, and I'm not really a huge fan of half the things on the burger. It's just delicious. I've had two this week and I'm probably gonna have a third. Get one. That chef cooks it perfectly too. Mmm. Also, if that's not your thing, all of their burgers have new buns now that are like dinner rolls. Sublime. Stop eating crappy burgers, get over to Macado's and fix your life. The end

It lacks the ambieance of the other Macado's. Food is mediocre and service is hit or miss. Not the best Macado's around. Roanoke Tanglewood is by far the best around.

This particular Macado's is just average or slightly below average when compared to Macado's in Blacksburg, Radford and Roanoke. It's really hard to go wrong with making a sandwich, so most of the issues I've encountered at the Christiansburg Macado's have been with the non-typical menu food and the staff. The wings are absolutely the worst around. Those have often been stale and the breading is not crisp at all. It's a soggy mess and I actually had to return my last order because they tasted spoiled. The French Onion soup is good but was served luke warm on my last two orders. Concerning the wait staff, that's hit or miss like the food. There is one server in particular who tries WAY to hard to be friendly. He jokes inappropriately and is just really annoying. He is however more attentive than some others. Although, this restaurant is very close and convenient for me, it's worth going out of my way to NOT visit here. If we're in the mood for Macado's we'll drive to B'burg first. Like all the others, I love the sandwiches but I just wish they would put the chips back on the plate instead of the small 1 oz. bag. Give me more chips and I'll gladly buy the Macados sauce for dipping.

Comes in a close 2nd to Marion, VA location. Great food at a great price!
