Not a bad place overall but not exactly friendly for the college crowd either. Their drinks are all $.50 or $1.00 more expensive than most other places down town Blacksburg and if you open a tab they charge you $30.01 for a couple days which can be quite a shock on your account the next day. Especially if you use a debit card with a low balance. Also, in my experience the staff wasn't very friendly.
If you are looking for a place to go for happy hour, this is not the place. Bought a pitcher of blue moon expecting it to at least be cheaper or reasonably priced and ended up paying 14 dollars for it. It has an older atmosphere, expect lots of townies.
The only cigar friendly place left in Blacksburg, if you smoke go downstairs, if you're not cool and hate smoke stay upstairs, bartenders are awesome and know how to make proper drinks. Karaoke every Wednesday night and good daily specials.
Good drink prices, attentive bartenders, smoke-free upstairs, great karaoke downstairs on Wednesday nights! I go every week.
