Living nearby, I have had Paul's take out on many occasions, especially lunch. The BBQ chicken halves are a reliable winner. For a bit more than 9 dollars, you get a tender, juicy, and a well seasoned rub half chicken and two sides. The tomato sauce is good, but I prefer the chicken as is. Paul also sells half and full rack pork ribs, also very good with just the rub. Pulled pork sandwiches are also sold. Paul has versatility too. If you call ahead he can also do Carolina vinegar based BBQ. Paul is slowly expanding his menu, which will soon include fish. And Paul does catering on appointment. Whatever your appetite is, you will be very happy with Paul's work and his prices.

Very small simple operation and the BBQ ribs has made it to my top 3 list in Virginia a little pricey but the flavor makes it worth it and try the homemade hot sauce for a good kick the location is a tad far out but as said worth it oh and the hours are tricky so call ahead Keep Smoking Paulie!!!

Fantastic BBQ! Incredible homemade sauce best ever I would recommend Paulie's to anyone

They DO take credit/debit cards. A tad expensive, and the building is pretty much a dive-y hold-in-the-wall, but they have great BBQ and are very friendly. Try the ribs!

Stopped in because of a local tip while visiting. Ordered a bbq sandwich, chicken, and catfish. The sandwich was decent with nice smoke flavor. The chicken was spit-out-of-your-mouth inedible. So dry and without flavor that I wondered what I did to deserve it. The fish was fried dark, dark brown. Also inedible. If you find yourself on 151 desperate for q, stick w/ the sammich.
