Kneaders Bakery & Cafe

I agree with a previous poster who said they loved Kneaders, just not this one. My husband and I ordered breakfast and after 20 minutes passed (and after watching 4 customers who ordered after us get their food) we asked where our food was. No apology, just a "go sit down and we'll bring you're food when we're darn good and ready" attitude. Even a fellow diner noticed that we'd been there forever without getting our food and offered to ask where our food was. We decided to wait it out. When I finally got my omelette, it had large chunks of a black rubbery substance in it that I guess were mushrooms. The eggs in the omelette were mostly brown and the whole mess was completely inedible. My husband offered to share his french toast with me. It tasted good enough...but was hard as a brick on the outside. The store itself was moderately clean, but my table had some sticky on it. I would have asked for someone to wipe the table down if I wasn't getting the clear message from employees that I was already in enough trouble for asking where my food was. DO NOT go to this location if you want a good Kneaders experience.
Love the food. The lines can get pretty bad, and they do run out of food sometimes. But when I can get what I want, it's always tasty :)
Tonight was the last straw for us. We have come here many times hoping each visit would be better than the last, and they always continued to disappoint. Tonight my wife ordered a piece of apple pie, and I ordered a frozen chai. Instead my wife received a heap of apples with little crust and none of the crumple topping that was on the pie in the case. It literally looked like it had been dropped on the floor. My frozen chai was not frozen, it was iced, so they really need to learn the difference between the two words. They failed to give me a straw, so the first time I was able to take a drink was at home. I was not surprised to find they had messed this up. It was an iced coffee or something...whatever it was, it was not chai, that's for sure. I would suggest many other places, even the Smiths that is right there. In AF there is Paradise bakery, a bagel shop or two...ANYWHERE BUT HERE!
I just went and got a turkey ranch and it was so dry and it was extremely salty.
I love kneaders, but not THIS kneaders, it is poorly managed, they are always running out of things we want to order and they are not genuinely apologetic about it. Once they raised the price of an item on their computer and didn't update the board and would not honor the price on the board. One time they had a picture of a kids sandwich that included several items on the sandwich and when we or the sandwich it didn't have those items, they would not put them on.
