Produce Section is one of the worst! When the HEB first opened it was 5 stars however since it has taken a nose dive. Almost everything you handle is rotten or is a day away. The rest of the store is great to include the meat section.
Customer Service is very poor. Manager smirked and laughed at my complaint. There is little attention paid to bagging groceries and the clerks are rude. I've been going to this HEB for years and there are maybe 2 ppl there that are actually courteous and will work to solve any problem in a good way. I plan on going elsewhere for most everything from here forward.
I was liking this HEB, but then they totally disappointed me. My husband bought batteries and a car freshener and the cashier or bagger did not putted the stuff in the cart. We went the next day to get our stuff, and so we told a manager about it. She asked for our receipt and so I told her that we don't keep them. Then she said that without the receipt nothing can be done. I told her, "Well if you have honest working people here they should have brought it to my husband or put it aside until he return back." She then went to look and brought a binder telling us that when people forget things they write it in there, and nothing of what we purchased was there. She kept saying you need the receipt. I told her then what difference will it make if I had the receipt if you are telling me that is not written in the "binder". She just kept saying sorry. This shows me that they have thieves working in there. So not returning to this HEB.
Well...they sample the same wines...this is been going on since March since I moved into the area. Sushi ...is sub par ..might as well be from a Chinese buffet. Samples will taste great but then the product you take home sucks. You can taste the lack of effort they put into their sushi product. Such a shame there are no other good sushi places near this area too. Nothing to special about this HEB Plus in my opinion. Only plus I can say is that they do carry a good amount of gluten free products that I desperately need for my son. I would think that a nice area like this would offer better quality. The Heb Avalon off Military and Wurzbach Pwky way better.
