The Egg & I
Reviews
My family and I went to the Egg and I this morning and we had a wonderful experience! First we were greeted by one of the nicest hostesses I've come in contact with then we proceeded to have a fresh delicious meal that even my toddler loved. None of that high fructose sugary crap on my Belgian waffles just fresh blueberries and raspberries with some warm syrup. Nothing over the top or super sweet. The eggs were perfect not overly salty where you can't even enjoy the taste of the egg. Don't even get me stated on there version of hash browns; they were simply amazing! Definitely a 5 star restaurant feel for about the same cost as IHOP. They even have a 15%military discount. My family and I will be returning cause we love good service and great food!
This one is so bad! Usually go to the Stone Oak or San Pedro location! Service is ok but waited over 45 minutes for our food after waiting 20 minutes to be seated! Makes all Egg and I's look bad!!! This was the second time at this location, first time was also a bad experience but was willing to try it again and will definitely be the last! If this will be your first time trying the restaurant consider driving to another location, believe me it will be worth it!!
Took 15-20 minutes to get our coffee. Very poor service and bland food. Flavorless eggs, tiny portions, and weak weak coffee. 10+ minutes of sitting with empty plate/beverages and still haven't gotten our checks. Never again.
Excellent wait staff. Our waiter Christian was always good checking if we needed anything else. The pancakes were a lot better then IHOP and Denny's.
Great service, friendly staff, prompt, very good food, with servings slightly on the larger size. They offer a discount to those in the armed services. Waitress was helpful with other dining options in the aera too. March 30, 2012. Would visit again!
