Gift shop portion is cute, kind of pricy for stuff you can find in Hobby Lobby. I originally came here to go online and work a bit, have some coffee, support a local business while doing so instead of going to big chain coffee place. Well shoot! I asked if they had wifi, they said "yes". The wifi is someone's cell phone being used as a hot spot, so it was super slow. Apparently they do have a wifi service- they just couldn't remember the password. I ordered some soup, was going to order a salad as well but this male waiter here was so obnoxious I just couldn't stay any longer. His comments to the other female waiter? "Oh FYI, in the future, don't leave tips on the table" and "oh, and in the future don't have babies with another man". It's a small place, you can hear every conservation they were having. Frustrating. Telling the cook this women is alone and she ordered a sweet drink so I'm sure she's going to order a chicken salad. To which the sweet older lady he was referring to turned around quite embarrassed. My soup was ok, not home made. Guess I shouldn't be surprised. The waiter compared it to Olive Garden. Yuk! The overall atmosphere is really cute, wonderful French shabby chic actually however beware of the overwhelming smell of all the Tyler's candles they have going- very conflicting with the food smells that would have filled the air with yumminess. Sorry guys, I really wanted to like this cute place.
You fix tbe label...your job
I enjoy The Mix. I have been shopping there since it first opened with the previous owners. It is fun to look at all the great stuff. It offers such a variety of things. It makes for a great girl's day out - shopping and then lunch at their delicious cafe. Hewitt is fortunate to have such a cute place!
I visited this store for the first time and felt as though I stepped into a world of beauty and class. There are so many personal touches from gifts and cards to home decorations and faniciful items that are very unique. I highly recommend visiting this store and seeing what you can get to bring some elegant class to your home or to share with a friend.
I disagree with the review comments of "John" below. His posting goes beyond what would be reasonable in terms of the language and words used to describe any situation or transaction which may have occured between "John" and Betsy. The fact that "John" chooses to remain anonoumous is both interesting and suspicious. "John" should describe the transaction he had with Betsy in more detail if he expects people to view his response as being fact-based versus emotions-based.
