Hooters

I've been going there since I was a lowly undergrad at Baylor University. You can try tipping them well or not, it doesn't matter; they will be equally dismissive and lazy. The servers are slow. They're usually too busy socializing or who knows what to even acknowledge you. They often disappear leaving you to wait for them to do their job. It's a terrible place to drink but, unfortunately, there are not many sports bars (and I use the term loosely) around. They some times serve the beer too cold and ice forms on the top, which is a big no no for beer.

We love Hooters and visit them all over the country. This is one of the best location that we have been to. Great food and service!

Service was terrible, worst hooters i been to by far.

I have loved Hooters since 1992, but there is something very wrong with this one. The last several visits have been unsatisfactory to say the least. Either the cooks loose the order, or the waitress forgets to turn it in, or the wings are undercooked. The last time we went our order took over 45 minutes to arrive, during which time I observed a table get 2 extra orders of crawfish (which I would have ordered if I had known they were available). We have had meals comped the last 4 times WITHOUT EVEN ASKING. The girls are usually very pretty, (wish they hadn't relaxed their tattoo policy though), but not attentive at all. There was a time when the waitress would keep your glass filled from your pitcher, but not here. You are lucky if you can get her attention just to order another pitcher. These problems occur even when the place is barely half full, so its not because its too busy. I guess the girls are paying attention to the young guys, not realizing that I usually tip in the 25-30% range (or at least I used to & would again if ever had decent service). I guess I'll have to try a Hooters in a different city before I write them off completely. ---Hint to waitresses--Guys that are old enough to know which part of their hat goes in front usually have more money than the ones who can' t figure that perplexing problem out, don't have any illusions about you going home with us and would like a little attention for our table (even though we have women with us).

Great place at 1st, but then became pathetic. I was a regular customer at this hooters since it 1st opened up. It was a pretty good place to be at considering I've never been to a hooters till it opened. The waitresses were pretty cool people (and attractive). I for one am one of those customers who sits down, orders, minds my own business and enjoy carrying a conversation with the staff if they're not real busy. I would say the past year and a half to two years changed my mind completely. I began to notice that even on the part of the days when business was practically dead my wait time became longer and longer, sometimes up to 2 hours even if I am the only customer there and the place was ready to open. I also began to notice that the attitude of the staff became very...shall I say "hostile" for a lack of a better term. I never hit on them, stalked them or anything cause I prefer to stay single. They also began to practically throw my food at me when it was ready and take my plate away when I'm in the middle of eating. I then later found out that the head manager and half the ladies on the staff went to a new restaurant which opened in Waco and the people who replaced the staff pretty much turned my opinion completely around about this company.
