Twin Peaks in Harker Heights: Have read a lot of bad reviews on line for this place and was hesitant on going. But, my wife, son and I went last night for dinner. We were greeted at the door and promptly seated by our waitress (Shelby) who promptly took our drink orders. We ordered the Fried Pickles, and they were scrumptious! For the main course we had Fish Tacos, Venison Chili Burger and the Chicken Burger w/bacon and pico. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. Short mug beers were like $2.25 each and the talls were a little over $4. With 4 beers and food total bill for three was $55, which is very inline with other restaurants in the area. Our waitress Shelby was always available, friendly, and kept glasses full. We will be back!
The service was ok. The food was ok. Nothing to brag about. They have 16 televisions but only show three different channels. I asked to watch a braves and was told we don't have that channel. For the amount I paid they need to upgrade their sports package. If you are right off the interstate you are going to get people traveling through.
I went here for the ladies and will come back because of the food and cold cold beer. The ladies are very friendly and extremely beautiful. The two sexy bartenders were very social with us, and they made sure our mugs were full. I'll be coming back for sure.
DO NOT GO THERE FOR THE FOOD!!! Their food is horrible, do not eat the food there. The ladies were beautiful and the service was friendly. Go there to have a beer or two but stay away from the food.
