Service has been steadily declining, but the food remains about the same. Tables recently are dirty and seats are not wiped down. The bathrooms stink to high hell. We are sat and then will sit there for 5-10 minutes without anyone coming over to introduce, let alone take drink orders (was not a busy night. 2-4 empty seats per section). Such a shame because we have been going to Cheddar's for a while now. Guess it's off to find a place of business that will show a little care about the people paying their rent. *shrugs*

This place is great. My husband and I eat here quite a bit and the service and food are always great. Have never had any problems with tables being dirty or food being served cold. Will definitely be returning.

The Monte Cristo sandwich is awesome dinner n desert in one. Have always had good service here. Reasonable and awesome drinks too.

After being seated at a dirty table and addressing it with the hostess, she disagreed and stated that it was just sweat rings from the previous customer. After scrapping food remains from the table with my fingernail, she asked if I'd like her to clean it rather than just doing it to begin with. She came back with an almost dry rag and proceeded to only wipe my section of the table and did even that poorly. I'm just not sure when customer service stopped being about the customer. I'm a mother of 2 in my mid 30s and I think I know a clean table from a dirty one. I debated whether to leave or try again with the server. I opted to try again and even suggested that if it were that big a deal, I didn't mind doing it myself if she'd just bring me a rag with sanitizer. Needless to say, we did get the table cleaned off and the server was helpful in making that happen. After that ordeal, I really wanted things to go well for the sake of Sunday's being the only day my family can get together and spend some quality time. My husband ordered extra ranch with his meal and had to ask 2 more times to have it brought to the table, just to get it as he completed his meal. We ordered extra chips for the queso before the salad came, and received them after the meal was brought out. I got a refill, but not of diet soda. And to top it off, I wanted to make a complaint but no one wore name tags - not one person at ALL. No managers walked the dining area to inquire about dining experiences. Maybe our visit was tainted from the beginning. But I really did try to wipe the slate clean with the hopes that it would improve. No such luck. The food was great as always. I will certainly tell anyone that asks, about the delicious food and the atmosphere of Cheddar's, but I will focus my review more on the experience I just had and the poor service I received. It really made the dining experience so not worth going again. There are too many places to eat, from Cove to Temple, that I won't be visiting again anytime soon.

Looked pretty busy from the outside, but they still had some of tables. It was a bit darker than I expected, but also not very loud consider the number or people. The staff took a while to get/ refill drinks, but had my food out quick. The mushroom cheeseburger is amazing!! Best burger I've had in a while.
