I had eaten at Papa's for a long time. I loved their food. Since my physical condition has gone down hill, I have had to sell my home and move to Temple. I miss eating at Papa's and the waitresses that I knew from there. My chances of getting to eat at Papa's is slim to none. I also miss the customers that I met there. I hope some day before too long I will get back there to eat!

The Google user ran into his ex here at Pa-Pa’s, he couldn’t do anything but write a bad review. The other Google user's bad review…she was his ex... My wife and I ate here yesterday (2004) and found the food, service and prices all excellent and no, he is not my PaPa.

I love this diner. I look forward to my Friday morning breakfast with friends. We went to every breakfast place in town and found Papa's and never went any where again. I think the staff is awesome and look forward to seeing them as much as the food. The prices as well are great and potions are amazing!

I can't speak for the rest of the menu because I never make it pass the soups and homestyle burger, but if you're looking for a good hearty bowl of soup get in your car and go to Papa's Cafe. In my experience, all of the soups on the menu thus far have been great in my book. Steven who is the soup chef there at Papa's can only be described as the equivalent of TV sitcom Seinfeld's infamous Soup Nazi minus the neo-nazi demeanor. Some of my favorites are the chicken & rice, chicken noodle, broccoli cheese, cream of asparagus just to name a few. If you are watching your salt intake this my not be a wise choice, but for those of you looking for a hot hearty semi-rich bowl of soup look no further. Also on the menu that cannot be missed and in my opinion the best in the area is the Homestyle Burger. Made fresh to order anyway you want it for $4.95 they don't skimp on the meat or any of the fixings. And if you really want a treat, order a side of brown gravy and smother it on your burger! sounds gross? don't knock it till you try it! gravy burgers are not something to be questioned-only enjoyed! you're belly will be happy (unless you're on a diet, in which case you shouldn't be eating burgers anyway)
