This is by far the best restaurant in town that I have been to. Have been here multiple times and everything has been perfect every time. Read my other reviews and you will see I don't say that often. On our kids birthdays, they decide where we go out to eat and can order anything on the menu they want. My daughter chose Pappadeaux on her 13th birthday and wasn't disappointed. She ordered a virgin daiquiri, fried alligator appetizer, steak and lobster dinner, and some desert that I can't remember the name of. But she loved everything. I always order the shrimp etouffee. It's not the biggest or best looking meal but the taste is amazing. It's exactly what you expect from an etouffee. The experience was so good for the six in our party that I let my daughter decide the tip. She said 25% so I added another 3% (28% total) to cover tip-out and we left very happy. Read my other reviews and you will see that I don't give out complements lightly, but I can confidently recommend this restaurant to anyone!

I have been here many times in the past and always it was great. But I was so upset about my visit today I cannot sleep. Here it is almost midnight and I am typing this. Everything started great...seated right away by a nice glass wall with nice plants outside. Drinks came quickly and we were told we had double the service tonight because we had two waiters. We ordered. We expected it to be a little pricy to eat here....as I said, we have been here many times in the past. It was a little wait to get our food...no problem. When it arrived, it was before our salads. We were shocked and told the server we hadn't even had our salads yet. We also asked for silverware. Now at this class of restaurant..you shouldn't have to request silverware. He left and we waited..no silverware. Ten minutes later...here come our tardy salads. Still no silverware. We requested silverware again. This waiter did get us silverware...but he must have gotten lost because it was another 5 minutes before he came back. I was clocking this. It took a total of 18 minutes to get silverware after we got our food which was even before the salads. By the time we got silverware most of the food was cold. The rest was lukewarm. Food tasted very good. But I was furious about our treatment. Wait staff was almost none existent. We kept looking around for someone to get our bill after we finished...no one. We had to demand a ticket from another person just handling desserts to get someone to pay our bill. I wish I had gotten up and left when our food arrived before our salads with no silverware to eat with. If the restaurant was some little dive with cheap food, I wouldnt be griping. But this is supposed to be a nice restaurant. The dinner we ordered was a fish dinner (Tilapia) that cost almost $30 and the house salad was $5 extra, Tilapia is not an expensive fish. Again, its not the price I am griping about, I expect to pay that but it should come with good service. I dont think its asking to much to be able to eat it while its hot. I was so mad I wrote corporate headquarters. And on TripAdvisor. I told the ladies at the seating podium....I guess you call them Hostesses? I told them some of our experience...they could tell I was upset. I did not tell them everything because I was too mad. I was afraid I would say something I would regret. It will be a long time before we return here, if at all.

Great Blackened Mahi. Good service. Moderately priced. I will definitely come back next time I'm in town.

Last Monday was my last chemo treatment for battling Leukimia over the last 8 months. My wife planned a surprise dinner with my friends at your location and I just wanted to let you know that I had the best experience I've ever had at this location. Stewart was the best waiter and the manager on duty came by and congratulated me. The food and drinks were excellent and everything couldn't have gone more perfect for my celebration. I have been going to Pappadeaux's for more than 10 years and this experience was the best overall. Not many restaurants go above and beyond like yall did that night. Thanks,Brian
