The food was good, service was good. We were the only ones there (9 pm on a weekday). They have so much potential, but it seems like they can't decide what type of restaurant they want to be. Simplify the menu. You are not doing anyone any favors by trying to please everyone. There is no way you can keep all of that food fresh with low volume of customers. Chips, biscuits, and salsa were appreciated but unnecessary. Try serving only the biscuits. You aren't a tex-mex place nor should you pretend to be one. My suggestions would be to pick a style and go with it. Beaumont doesn't have any french restaurants, so that could be a niche market. Try some authentic french dishes. Limit your menu to 5 simple easy to prepare entrees that you can make fresh every time. Add a few appetizers, salads, and desserts and that would be sufficient.
Party of four college girls but the service was excellent! They humored our request for extra salsa and biscuits. Asked to sit in the bar because the inside was very, very dark. The lunch menu was varied and prices were reasonable but the food wasn't anything spectacular. If I go back it will only be because of the service.
Amazing veggie plate. Very welcoming and friendly. Accommodates your diet.
good atmosphere
The place looks very nice from the outside, and it is very hard to find a restaurant in the area that is not a chain. The seared tuna was not seared. It was cooked with too little heat and it was dried out. The pizza had a crust that was not crisp and seemed to have come out of a freezer before being undercooked. If the crust did not give this away, it was the fact that it was still cold in places! On top of this was far too much cheese. Service was also bad, the server took our orders TWICE, and still brought me the wrong beer and the wrong pizza! Don't fall for the sleek looks, this place will disappoint.
