I attended Dixie Dance Hall in Beaumont on 2/16/13 to see a band that I had listened to since I was 12, Sevendust. This venue does not allow you to have fun, has underage drinkers and very unprofessional service. When Sevendust was about to come on I tried moving into the middle of the crowd. I was hit in the back of the head by almost everyone I passed like it was an insult that I tried moving up. After that I moved to the left side of the stage, the first song started, I was jumping up and down due to excitement. I was then grabbed by the neck by one of their bouncers and was choked while he lead me out of the building. DO NOT ATTEND THIS VENUE!! Especially if your trying to have a good time.
Dixie Dance hall is the worst club to go to in Beaumont Texas. Not only is the service crap but recently I have witnessed clearly underaged kids at the club, 15 and 16 year olds having a blast. The music is crap, they only play country, and to top it off everyone only dresses country. If your underage and you know people you can drink but if you have trouble with anyone working there you migh as well not even bother showing up becasue they will throw you out faster then you can say Dixie Dance Hall for no reason. I dont recommend anyone ever go there.
Always a great place to hang out with friends and they play great music! Best concerts in the area for a lot lower than they charge you at ford park. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to just find a place to have a drink and have a good time with friends!
