If you have people visiting town and you want to show them great views around town, you really ought to take them to the Oasis, sit on one of the decks down the side of the cliff, and time it so you're there for sunset. The food isn't horrible, but it's probably more expensive than it deserves. I had a perfectly respectable margarita, though it was also on the expensive side. But really, the view is wonderful and the sunsets are spectacular.
My first time going last night waited for 10 minutes before I went and talked to the hostess. They were to busy talking amongst theirselves. Then finally got a table sat down waited for a server for 20 min. got up and asked the hostess where are server was she told me I had to order form them bar. Their was NO BAR TENDER AT THE BAR. then had a server get me and my date a drink the server got more of the drink on the outside of a PLASTIC CUP then inside she filled it half way. DON'T GO I'VE HAD BETTER SERVICE IN JAIL THEN THERE.
A fun place to visit for lunch or dinner. Make time to visit the nearby shops. You could spend all day there! But at night it's even better. Time your visit for sunset. Even with the lake as low as it is now, the views are spectacular. It's also a wonderful venue for live music and dancing.
Just awful food, and awful service. Salsa that came with the chips tasted like tomato paste mixed with water and sugar. Would have made a better pasta sauce. Several in my group didn't make it halfway through their plates, and the waitress wasn't around to even ask us if the food was to our liking. She probably knew what the answer would be and was avoiding us. I felt pretty bad suggesting the place for our 8-person group, but hey, I think our friendship will survive. I'll make it up to them somehow. The only thing that saves this place is the view.
Overpriced awful food. We had sodas and burgers.. a family of 2 adults, 3 little kids came out to $58!! WITHOUT tip. Sodas in plastic cups, not much selection and you can find tex mex much better at other places and a better burger elsewhere for cheaper! I asked for medium well.. my burger meat was PINK. I didn't even bother with the fries. Never going back!
